BOBBY EDWARD ROBINSON

Bobby "Bob" Edward Robinson, age 86, died on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Lake City Scranton Health Care Center.

Born in Camden, he was a son of the late Willie Earnest Robinson and Ida H. Holly Robinson. Mr. Robinson retired from the U.S. Air Force with more than 20 years of honorable service and later retired from K-Mart with 22 years of service. He was a loyal member of Bethesda Church of God.

Surviving are his wife, Gwendolyn Faye Shultz Robinson; two sons, Carl Robinson and his wife, Cindy, of Virginia and Kendall Robinson and his wife, Sharon, of Sumter; and two granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara J. Robinson; two sisters, Mary Eloise McCaskill Boydjette and her husband, Edward, and Libby Elseth and her husband, Harold; and two brothers, Billy Robinson and his wife, Rita, and James L. Robinson.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at Bethesda Church of God with the Rev. H. Albert Sims officiating. A private interment will be held at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m. on Sunday at Bethesda Church of God.
