Brunson-Byrd

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wentworth Brunson III of Alcolu announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Ann Brunson of Alcolu, to Zachary Daniel Byrd of Sumter, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Henry Byrd of Sumter.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wentworth Brunson Jr. and Lois Ann Hardy of Alcolu and the late James Theron Hardy Jr. She graduated from Clarendon Hall in 2015 and attends the radiologic technology program at Florence-Darlington Technical College.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wentworth Byrd of Sumter and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Luther Brown of Wedgefield. He graduated from Laurence Manning Academy in 2015 and Central Carolina Technical College in 2017 with a degree in mechatronics. He is employed by Brunson Farms.

The wedding is planned for Dec. 28, 2019, at Graham Baptist Church in Sumter.
