CHARLIE LEE HAMPTON

Presiding Elder Charlie Lee Hampton, 74, husband of Katherine Thames Hampton, and son of the late Rev. Powell Hampton Sr. and Rosa Odell Green Hampton, was born on March 4, 1950, in Sumter.  He departed this life on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at his residence.
Public viewing will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Job’s Mortuary from 2 to 5 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Greater St. Phillip RMUE Church, 4574 Old River Road, Pinewood, with Bishop Duwine Sinkler, eulogist.
Interment will follow in New Hope Community Cemetery, Pinewood.
Family will receive friends at the home, 7765 Shine Lane, Pinewood, daily from 3 to 7 p.m.
