Clarendon Hall Farm Auction to be held March 6

SUMMERTON- Clarendon Hall will hold its annual farm auction beginning at 9 a.m. March 6 on the field adjacent to the school, 1140 S. Duke St.

Think Pink Community Prayer Breakfast on March 12

MANNING - The Clarendon County Sheriff's Office and Amedisys Hospice are sponsoring the annual Think Pink Community Prayer Breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. March 12 at 217 Commerce St.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's annual event will be a drive through. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Everyone is asked to remain inside their vehicles, and everyone inside the vehicles must wear a mask.

All meals are pre-packaged from vendor.

While supplies last, gift bags sponsored by HopeHealth will be given to everyone.

Clarendon County Electronic Recycling Day on March 13

MANNING - The Clarendon County Recycling Department is holding an Electronic Recycling Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 13 at the Clarendon County Administration Building, 411 Sunset Drive.

Items accepted to recycle include TVs with screens intact, monitors, video display devices, all intact computers, CPUs, keyboards, printers, CD/DVD players, game consoles, small handheld electronics, cellphones, stereo tuners, radios, speakers, microwaves and vacuum cleaners.

Items that will not be accepted include refrigerators, washing machines, clothes dryers, dishwashers, mercury containing devices (thermometers, fire alarms, etc.), hazardous waste chemicals, light bulbs, florescent tubes and biowaste.

This event is for Clarendon County residents only. No business e-waste will be accepted.

SHRED-WITH-US will also be onsite for residents who have important documents that they would like to have shredded.
