COVID-19 vaccine clinic to be held at Taw Caw Education Center in Summerton

SUMMERTON - A DHEC Vaccine Clinic will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 9 at the Taw Caw Community Education Center, 1126 Granby Lane, just east of Summerton off U.S. 301.

Beginning Monday, Phase 1B for the COVID-19 vaccine will begin. In this phase, frontline workers, including school staff, daycare workers, manufacturing workers, grocery store workers, law enforcement officers and individuals who are age 55 and older and others will be eligible for the vaccine.

There are three ways to register for DHEC-sponsored clinics. For individuals without access to a computer, they can fill out a Vaccine Appointment Form (attached to this story) and return it to the local health department, or they can also call the vaccine line at 1-866-8110 to register for DHEC-sponsored clinics.
