Dates change for Clarendon School District 2 Grab and Go Meals

Posted

MANNING - The dates have changed for Clarendon School District 2's free Grab and Go Meals. The free meals are available for hybrid and virtual students at CSD2 and for all children ages 18 years of age and younger in the community.

Why should families take advantage of the free meals?

They're free and stretch a family's food budget. They save time. They make the school day feel almost normal. The free meals help create and sustain jobs and support the local economy, and while they are convenient, they also meet the USDA nutritional guidelines.

For students in hybrid classes who attend school two days each week, the school cafeteria will send three days of breakfasts and lunches on the student's second day of in-person classes before the child leaves school.

Parents of guardians of virtual students can pick up meals (five breakfasts and five lunches) at the back door cafeteria entrance at the following locations:

- Manning Primary School, (803) 435-8538

- Manning Elementary School, (803) 435-4653

- Manning Early Childhood Center, (803) 473-4808

- Manning Junior High School, (803) 435-2778

- Manning High School, (803) 825-5037

It is important to call the school cafeteria to reserve the meals so they can prepare enough meals. There will be no meal pick ups on Monday, Wednesday or Friday.
