EVELENA JACKSON LUCKY
Evelena Jackson Lucky, 78, widow of Calvin Lucky, was born on March 21, 1943, in Sumter, a daughter of the late Tossie and Cora Lee Washington Jackson.
She departed this life on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.
Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary.
Mrs. Lucky will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. on Thursday for viewing until the hour of service.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, SC 29150 with Pastor James Goodman officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, 225 Rolling Creek Drive, Sumter, SC 29153.
Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
