FRANCINA VIRGINIA WOODS GIBBS

Francina (Frankie) Virginia Woods Gibbs, 86, widow of William David Gibbs and daughter of the late Willie Woods and Carrie Vernell Harvin Woods, was born on April 11, 1938, in Sumter. She departed this life on Monday, Feb. 3, 2025, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital, Columbia.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, Feb. 7, 2025, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary Inc.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025, at Westend Community Church of Christ, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, with Dr. Ralph W. Canty Sr., officiating.

Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Sumter.

Family will receive friends at the home, 540 Lyman Road, Sumter.
