Handsome and sweet, Sumter Animal Control's Duke is hoping for a home of his own

This handsome boy is Duke. He weighs 59 pounds and is approximately 2 to 5 years old. Duke is good on a leash and loves going for walks. He seems to do well with other dogs. Duke enjoys getting petted by as many people as he possibly can before going back to his kennel after his walks. This sweet boy was surrendered to the shelter and is hoping to find a home of his own.

As with all of our adoptable dogs, we do require a spay or neuter agreement, and it is strictly enforced. Proof of spay/neuter after adoption will be required. We have many other adoptable dogs as well as animals who were found and are waiting for their owners to claim them.
