Harriett Joyner Fleming Isaac, 77, was called home to rest on Thursday, May 21, 2020, at Windsor Manor Nursing Facility, Summerton.

She was a child of the late Walter and Annie Allen Joyner. She attended the public schools of Sumter County and graduated from Lincoln High School. She worked at Georgia-Pacific for many years and later became a private caregiver for many years. Harriett was a longtime member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

She will forever be remembered and her memories cherished by her family: her children, Stephanie Joe, Patricia (Travis) Dinkins and Theresa (Dewitt) Taylor; eight grandchildren, two of whom she reared as her own in her home, Jerollis Fleming and Quinyetta (Wenthony) Heyward, Jeanette (Zanthony) Rembert, Charlie Washington, Katecia Shannon, Shalonda Barker, Amanda Barker and Jacqueline Barker; three sisters-in-law, Nellie Allen, Emma Lyons and Frances (Charles) Dinkins; 21 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving relatives and friends at the home, 4545 Stick Lane, Sumter.

Homegoing services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 182 S. Pike East, Sumter, with the Rev. Dr. Aurelia Hill, pastor, and the Rev. Joshua Dupree officiating, eulogist.

The remains will be placed in the church at 1 p.m.

The procession will leave the home at 1:20 p.m.

Burial will be in the Walker Cemetery, Oakland Avenue, Sumter.
