HILDA S. MUELLER

Hilda S. Mueller, 86, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2010, at her residence.

She was born in Lohre, Germany, a daughter of the late Karl and Frieda Richter. Ms. Mueller retired after 30 years of service from the Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States in her RV. She was a member of the Silver Sneakers and Curves of Sumter. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Surviving are two daughters, Susan Carol Diggons and her husband, Rodney, of Germantown, Tenn., and Linda Jean Hingst and her husband, Robert, of Wedgefield; four grandchildren, Lisa Riedlinger, Tammy Ridgeway, Jason Wright and Bobby Hingst; along with five great-granddaughters, Lindsey, Taylor, Riley, Emilyn and Ella Sophia.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. today in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with Newton Brown officiating.
