Horton-Parshley

Sierra Horton of Turbeville and Dustin Parshley of New Zion were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, at Perry's Pond.

The bride is the daughter of Robbie Horton of Manning and Heidi Horton of Turbeville, and the granddaughter of Rusty and Vermell Green of Turbeville, Wilson and Cheri Horton of Murrells Inlet and Keith and Sara Haselden of Lake City. She is employed by SouthPark Auto Sales Inc.

The bridegroom is the son of Jennifer Parshley of New Zion and the late Jay Parshley, and the grandson of Raymond Lynch and the late Janice Lynch of Turbeville and Jean Parshley of Epping, New Hampshire. He is employed by Low Country Mechanical and Fab.

Wilson Horton officiated at the ceremony.

Escorted by Rusty Green and Robbie Horton, the bride wore a thin-strapped white gown and carried a bouquet of sunflowers.

Jada Welch served as maid of honor. Hannah Moody and Kasey Pirt served as bridesmaids.

Landon Kirby served as best man. Groomsmen were Christopher Vick and Robbie Daniels. Weston Allday and Jackson Allday served as ring bearers.

The reception was given by Vermell Green, Rusty Green, Lynn Geddings and Robin Moody and Perry's Pond.

Jennifer Parshley held the rehearsal party at Perry's Pond.

Following a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, the couple resides in Turbeville. Due to COVID-19, the couple has planned another wedding trip to Alaska in 2021.
