JENNIFER MARIE ATKINSON CRUZ

Jennifer Marie Atkinson Cruz, 33, wife of Celestino Cruz Martinez, died Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter.

Born Aug. 9, 1990, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Veronica Atkinson.

Survivors in addition to her husband include five children, Jeyla, Noah, Isaac, Gabriel and Baby Girl; two brothers, Lonnie Hassler (Charlotte) and Tyler Atkinson; one sister, Ashley Atkinson; and several other aunts, uncles and other extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Calvary Church of the Nazarene, officiated by the Rev. Arthur Sharpe.

The family will receive friends at the church following the service.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
