Mann-Young

CASHIERS, North Carolina - Baylin Elise Mann of Pensacola, Florida, and Greyson Steele Young of Sumter were united in marriage on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at The Country Club of Sapphire Valley.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. Tyler Waite Mann of Pensacola, Florida, and Mrs. Allison Bailey Tarrant of Daniel Island, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Mann and Mr. and Mrs. Grover Jackson Bailey Jr., all of Pensacola, Florida. She graduated from Alethia Christian Academy in Pensacola, Florida, and Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School of Charleston and is pursuing a business degree in marketing from American Public University.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Jeffrey Young, and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Rockwell Young Sr., the late Mr. and Mrs. William Bryan Steele Sr. and Mrs. Ceceilia Steele, all of Sumter. He graduated from Wilson Hall in 2017 and from The Citadel in 2021. He is a United States Army Infantry Officer.

The Rev. Grover Jackson Bailey III officiated at the ceremony.

Music was provided by the bride's grandfather, Grover Jackson Bailey Jr.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a Robert Bullock strapless four-ply crepe mermaid gown with a pleated bodice and button back detail.

Reagan Hines served as maid of honor.

The bridegroom's father served as best man.

The bride's parents held the reception at The Country Club of Sapphire Valley.

The bridegroom's parents held the rehearsal party at The Orchard in Cashiers.

Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean, the couple resides in Fairbanks, Alaska, at Fort Wainwright.
