MHS Golden Pride shines at competition

The Manning High School Golden Pride Marching Band competed in the Phillip O. Berry High School Spirit of the 17th Annual Cardinal Band Competition on Sept. 21 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Golden Pride received: first place, Music for Class 2A; second place, Drum Majors for Class 2A; second place, General Effect for Class 2A; third place, Marching for Class 2A; and second place, overall in Class 2A out of five bands.
