Noonan-Robinson

LAKE MARION - Miss Riley Elizabeth Noonan and Mr. James Matthew Robinson, both of Sumter, were united in marriage in a lakeside ceremony at noon Saturday, May 30, 2020, at the Noonan Family Lake Home.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William Thomas Noonan Jr. and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Timothy Rowland and Mrs. William Thomas Noonan and the late Mr. Noonan, all of Sumter. She graduated from Sumter High School and from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Veterinary Science.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Ronald Robinson of Sumter and the grandson of Mrs. Ernest Pitman Barwick and the late Mr. Barwick of Sumter and Mrs. Robert James Robinson and the late Mr. Robinson of Turbeville. He graduated from Sumter High School and is employed by Dominion Energy in Sumter.

Dr. Daniel Felder Barber Jr. officiated at the ceremony.

Music was provided by the Rev. Allen Lowe, vocalist, and Mrs. Kristin Pierce Lowe, keyboardist.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a satin strapless fit-and-flare gown with a chapel-length train and a cathedral-length veil with beaded lace appliqu s. She carried a bouquet of peonies, garden roses, spray roses, tulips, ranunculus and greenery.

Miss Mary Kathleen Noonan, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Mrs. Nancy Nicole Pare and Mrs. Katelyn Robinson, both sisters of the bridegroom, served as bridesmaids. Flower girls were Miss Anna Reese Canty, Miss Alice Sophia Pare, Miss Harper Anne Phillips and Miss Charlotte Ann Rowland.

The bridegroom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Charles Kenneth Noonan and Mr. William Thomas Noonan III, brothers of the bride.

Also participating were Mrs. Patricia Hiott, Miss Caroline Howard, Miss Emily Howard, Miss Grayce Howard, Miss Sarah Howard, Miss Hannah Merchant, Miss Ashlin Noonan, Miss Mairin Noonan and Miss Ryann Noonan.

The bride's parents held the reception on the lawn of the Noonan Family Lake Home.

The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner for the two families at Traditions Catering in Manning.

Following a wedding trip to Lake Toxaway, North Carolina, the couple will reside in Sumter.
