Ortmann-Stuart

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Chandler Ortmann of Sumter announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Reid Ortmann of Columbia, to Cory Thomas Stuart of Columbia, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Alexander Stuart of San Diego, California.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred William Ortmann Jr. of Sumter and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Singleton Jackson of Gable. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Middle Level Education and a Master's Degree in Language and Literacy, both from the University of South Carolina. She is employed by Lexington School District One.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. Nello Martin Baldelli and Mrs. Carol Jean Baldelli of Boardman, Ohio, and Mr. Alexander Stuart and the late Mrs. Rita Stuart of Boardman. He graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Science and Education Degree in Pre Physical Therapy. He is in his third year of the Doctoral Program of Physical Therapy at the University of South Carolina.

The wedding is planned for April 6, 2019, in Sumter.
