PAUL CHRISTOPHER ROGERS

Paul Christopher Rogers, 71, died Monday, April 22, 2024, at his home.
Born Dec. 31, 1952, in Charleston,  he was the son of the late Eston Calhoun Rogers and the late Eliza Ann McLeod. Mr. Rogers worked as a heavy equipment operator for Barwick Plumbing and was very well thought of and loved by his family and numerous friends.
Survivors include one daughter, Kimberly Rogers; one son, Terrance Berry; one granddaughter, Paisley; three brothers, Delano Rogers (Rosa), Allen Rogers (Beverly) and Elvin Rogers (Rose); a dear friend, Debra Berry; his K-9 baby, Bam Bam; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Varner, Joyce Hodge and Ann Scarbrough; and three brothers, Lewis Rogers, Laverne Rogers and Gilbert Rogers.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Wise Drive Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Sammy Geddings officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home.
Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
