Prisma Health to host family resource fair Saturday at Trinity Missionary Baptist in Sumter

Prisma Health will host a family resource fair in Sumter called Midlands RISE on Saturday. Families, parents and the community are invited to Trinity Missionary Baptist Church from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to get connected to a number of free parenting and family resource groups. Multiple organizations, community groups and vendors can help families with a variety of needs. Enjoy free food, health screenings, door prizes and children's activities.

"We've partnered with our Healthy Start community coalition and Trinity Missionary Baptist Church to have various organizations and businesses under one roof to connect individuals to needed services," said Kim Alston, director, Prisma Health-Midlands Healthy Start, in a news release. "We are working together toward empowering and building stronger communities."
