ROBERT C. WEATHERLY

Robert Carl Weatherly, 58, husband of Margie L. Weatherly, died Friday, March 22, 2019, at MUSC in Charleston.

Born Jan. 3, 1961, in Sumter, he was a son of the late Richard Carl Weatherly and Patricia Ann Briner Weatherly. Mr. Weatherly was a driver for Sumter Transport Co. He enjoyed golf and fishing and was an avid fan of the Clemson Tigers.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years; four children, Brian Weatherly, Trish W. McCoy (Justin), C.C. Weatherly and Evan Weatherly, all of Sumter; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Ricky Weatherly (Rose) and Roger Weatherly (Tess), both of Sumter; one sister, Renee Weatherly of Sumter; and his canine companion and best friend, Puddy.

Services will be private.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
