A public viewing for Sammie Sharper will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at the mortuary.
Sammie Sharper was born on March 27, 1960, in Sumter, to the late Raymond and Hattie Mae Amos Sharper.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Nelson.
He departed this life on Saturday, May 23, 2020, in Sumter.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: two daughters, Samantha T. "Sammie" Major and Breanna Sharper; two grandchildren, Kyleigh Savannah Pollard and Grayson Lee Major; three brothers; six sisters; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services are entrusted to Whites Mortuary LLC - Ministry in the Market Place.
