STANLEY E. ARDIS

Stanley E. Ardis, 62, husband of Sharon Warren Ardis, died on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Born on April 23, 1958, in Sumter, he was a son of Fannie Mae Geddings Ardis and the late Eugene "Buddy" Ardis. He was a member of Shepherd's Chapel Church. He was employed by Santee Print Works for 30 years and later became a truck driver.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years; his mother of Sumter; two children, Jonathan E. Ardis (Jennifer) and Jennifer R. Ardis, both of Sumter; and five grandchildren, William, Caileigh, Raina, Lydia and Brenna.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Joe Ardis.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Donnie Hearrell, the Rev. Donna Green and Johnny Lyons officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
