Summerton man killed in single-vehicle wreck on Sunday

A 31-year-old Summerton man died Sunday morning following a single-vehicle wreck that occurred three miles south of Summerton.
Dashawn Henry died at McLeod Health Clarendon at 5:32 a.m. according to Clarendon County Coroner Jacqueline Blackwell.
Lance Cpl. Tyler Tidwell of the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the driver was not wearing a seatbelt.
“The 2004 Ram 1500 was traveling north on Nelson’s Ferry Road,” Tidwell added. “The vehicle then ran off the road to the left, went into a ditch, overturned several times and the driver was ejected.”
