Sumter officers search for man, 47, accused of plumbing scam

The Sumter Police Department is working to locate a suspect accused of a plumbing scam.
Jeremy Paul Edwin Mosley, 47, of the Camden/Sumter area, who works under a contractor, was accused of negotiating a plumbing repair deal with a resident without the company’s knowledge. He reportedly took the payment to purchase materials, but he never returned to make the repairs.
According to the police department, he is wanted for breach of trust less than $2,000.
