Sumter-Palmetto Rotary Club Vidalia onion sale Wednesday to Friday

For a civic group, late spring means onions.

The Sumter-Palmetto Rotary Club will set up its annual onion sale tent next to Bilton Lincoln on Wesmark Boulevard Wednesday-Friday, with sales from the Vidalia onions and other items going toward the club's local service projects.

Prices are as follows:

- 10-pound bag, $11;

- 25-pound bag, $22; and

- 40-pound Super Sack (four 10-pound bags), $35 (new deal this year).

Also for sale:

- Batter mix, $3;

- Vidalia peach salsa, $4; and

-Vidalia onion relish, $4.
