Always pay attention to your surroundings, and call law enforcement anytime you notice anything out of the ordinary, such as individuals or vehicles lingering outside a business or residential area or odd behavior. Any details (sizes, estimated ages, makes and models, marks or tattoos) can help law enforcement.

Business owners, managers and employees should be sure to eliminate potential hiding spots outside, maintain adequate lighting inside and out, remove posters and other items that can obstruct visibility from windows and doors and make sure video and security systems are working properly.
