Posted

For today's show, we're learning how telemedicine is helping students in Sumter county. Palmetto health, MUSC health and the SC telehealth alliance are partnering with Sumter school district to put clinical service in schools so students with non emergency health needs can be instantly connected to a nurse practitioner or pediatrician and have prescriptions sent to their pharmacy. The group demonstrated how it works at Manchester elementary school for staff and parents.
