Sumter Today: The community comes together for a special Mother's Day Parade

Mother's Day was certainly different this year with social distancing guidelines still in place. Those guidelines are especially important at senior living facilities like Covenant Place, where staff are trying to maintain the health and safety of residents by restricting all visitation. Family and staff members still wanted to make Mother's Day special for the mothers inside, so they organized a parade and gift drop for Sunday.
