On Monday, DHEC announced 1,105 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state as well as 11 more deaths.
Both of those numbers, along with 15.2 percent of tests coming back positive, were lower than normal. The number of cases announced today was about the same as yesterday. There has only been one day since June 22 that has seen a lower daily case count. There have now been 92,404 South Carolinians to test positive for the virus, and 1,721 have died.
