Sumter Today: One of Sumter’s largest companies gets a visit from the governor

Prisma Health partnered with Continental Tire in Sumter this morning to set up an on-site COVID-19 vaccine clinic.

Nearly 300 people opted to get a shot at Sumter County’s largest industrial employer.

When the world went into lockdown, they continued to report to work every day, producing passenger and light truck tires to help keep our daily lives and economy running.

Governor Henry McMaster visited the vaccine clinic, and we stopped by to talk with him and others involved in making the day happen.
