Sumter Today: Thomas Sumter Academy shoots for a state title

The Thomas Sumter Academy archery team has only existed for six years, but it has made the most of its time.

The Generals have made regular appearances in the state tournament and have won two SCISA titles in their short history.

On Monday, they aimed for a third title, but COVID-19 has changed the way the competition looks.

We were on hand as a DNR official went to the school to score the students as the competition was held remotely.
