Sumter Today: We attend a 107th birthday party parade

Mary Cunningham doesn’t know the exact key to her long life has been, but she does know a constant has been a morning glass of orange juice.

Mary is one of Covenant Place of Sumter’s original residents, and she helped plant the gardens and trees that line the continuing care community today.

Ms Mary turned 107 on Monday, and Covenant Place held a drive-by parade to honor her birthday, so we stopped by to talk with her.
