Tolbert, Ramirez-Garcia

Mr. and Mrs. Will Tolbert announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Marie Tolbert, to Adrian Ramirez-Garcia, son of Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Ramirez-Rivera, all of Sumter.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Mitchell of Abbeville, and the late Allen Tolbert and the late Pearline B. Tolbert. She graduated from Crestwood High School in 2014 and Winthrop University in 2018 with a Bachelor in Learning, Emotional and Multi-Categorical Disabilities. She is employed as a teacher by Pinetree Hill Elementary School in Kershaw County.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jos Antonio Garcia Andrad of Vera Cruz, Mexico, and Mr. and Mrs. Antonio Ramirez Chavez of Mexico. He graduated from Sumter High School in 2014. He is employed as a firefighter by the Sumter Fire Department.

The wedding is planned for April 4, 2020, at Sumter County Museum.
