UPDATE: SLED cancels SC Blue Alert for suspect wanted in connection to shooting of McBee police officer

UPDATE: Subject has been located.
Law enforcement across the state of South Carolina are looking for Alston Modlin, 27, after a McBee Police Officer was shot during a traffic stop late Thursday night.
Modlin may be armed and dangerous. DO NOT APPROACH!
If you see him, or have any information regarding his whereabouts, call 911.
He may be driving a 2013 Toyota Tacoma, with an SC license plate KRF577. The vehicle has a LEER sticker on back window, and was last seen traveling West at 6:01 a.m. in Florence.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is investigating the incident.
The officer is at the hospital receiving treatment.
This is an active and ongoing investigation.
