MANNING - Vermell Ragin Carter, 67, widow of Melvin Carter, died on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence.
She was born on November 17, 1951, in Summerton, a daughter of the late Nelson Ridgill and Frances Ragin.
Funeral services for Mrs. Carter will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning, with the Rev. Ricky Carter officiating and Minister Eloise Jackson and Pastor Robert China assisting.
The family is receiving friends at the home of her daughter, Adrianne Carter Bennett, 1356 Herod Drive, Manning.
