MANNING - The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 960 Manning and the American Legion Post 68 Manning will hold a Laying of the Wreath Ceremony at 11 a.m. Nov. 11 at the Veterans Monument on the front grounds of the Clarendon County Courthouse.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, only a brief ceremony will be held.

"We very respectfully recognize all veterans, past and present, for their military service and personal sacrifices made to our nation," said Larry Reit, a member of VVA 960. "Our ceremony will be very brief this year; however, a year cannot pass without honoring our military for their service."

Those who want to attend the ceremony are asked to wear face masks and maintain social distancing.
