CHARLIE SANDERS JR.

Charlie Sanders Jr., the son of the late Charlie Sanders Sr. and Martha Delay Sanders, was born on Dec. 3, 1946, in Lee County. On Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024, God called him home to rest. He received his formal education from the public schools of Lee County. Mr. Sanders accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Grant Hill Baptist Church.
Services will be held at noon Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024, at Grant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 5405 Black River Road, Rembert, with Pastor Clifton N. Witherspoon officiating.
Burial will follow in the Grant Hill Missionary Baptist Church Yard Cemetery.
The family is receiving relatives and friends at the home, 6500 Daniel Taylor Lane, Rembert.
Services directed by the management and staff of Williams Funeral Home Inc., 821 N. Main St., Sumter.
