ETHEL M. DIXON

On Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024, Ethel M. Dixon departed her earthly life. She was born Nov. 16, 1972, daughter of Shirley A. McCauley and the late Timothy McCauley Sr. Ethel was educated in the public schools of Lee County, and she graduated from Bishopville High School, Bishopville. She accepted Christ as her Savior and joined Mt. Olive A. M. E. Church, Woodrow.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, 2024, in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home Inc., 821 N. Main St., Sumter, with Presiding Elder Dr. Herbert Temoney, officiating, eulogist.

Burial will follow in Colclough Cemetery, Dubose Siding Road, Sumter.

The family is receiving relatives and friends from 4 to 8 p.m. at the home, 5405 Colclough Plantation Road, Sumter.
