JAMES ERIC CANTY

MANNING - On Monday, June 6, 2022, James "Jay" Eric Canty departed this life at his residence.

Born on Monday, Oct. 21, 1963, in Manning, he was a son of the late James and Estelle McKinney Canty.

Services celebrating his life will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday at Weldon Auditorium, 7 Maple St., Manning, where the Rev. Dr. Leon Winn, pastor of Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Manning, will bring words of consolation. The service of committal will follow in the family plot located in the Pine Grove AME Church Cemetery, 7999 Kenwood Road, Greeleyville.

Masks are required for those attending the service. Fleming & DeLaine Funeral Home and Chapel considers this recommendation and has adopted it into practice. Services will be livestreamed on our Facebook page at Fleming & DeLaine Funeral Home and Chapel.

Public viewing will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at Fleming & DeLaine Chapel, 222 W. Boyce St., Manning.

The family is receiving relatives and friends from 4 to 8 p.m. at the residence, 11871 Bloomville Road, Manning.
